I just finished a short piece for the next edition of the “Not My Small Diary” autobio anthology zine collection thingie, which centers around the theme of “High School”. I’m not going to post that story now, obviously, because you should buy NMSD when it comes out, as it is always fun and full of interesting stories. So, below is my story for the previous edition, the theme of which was “Transportation.” It features my sister and nephew and my only slightly-exaggerated fixation on the benefits of them getting a transit card for a short visit.
